Our Perth team specialises in Accommodation and Individual Support services for customers with disabilities. The services runs 24hrs /7 days a week and a support worker will be responsible for the day to day operations of and adhering to the residential programs in the Perth in Western Australia.

As a Support Worker, you will assist the people we support to develop key lifestyle skills such as cooking, craft, social interaction and help them to engage with their local community. You will be responsible for assisting individuals work towards their goals, assist with activities and routines, the provision of personal hygiene along with the administration and management of medication.

We are looking for passionate, dedicated, resilient, and trauma informed Support Workers to support the team and guide the Children and customers in our care. 

 

 What You Need to be Successful in this role?

  • Previous experience supporting people with a disability who have a variety of needs; or
  • Previous experience in aged care or caring for people with complex behaviours
  • Current drivers licence
  • Current "Provide First Aid Certificate" (Or be willing to obtain)
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community services or welfare will be advantageous
